IIIII'm siiiiiick

I cannot speak. A nation rejoices.

This flippin' cold is turning me up-side down, unh, boy you turn me, in-side out and round and round. But honestly, it's not as fun as I would have you believe. I really hate the fact that I cannot achieve the mind over matter thing, being the strong individual that I am. This cold hath mightily kicked mine ass, yea verily.

One good thing about contracting The Black Death when I did was the fact I was in another country having a blast with ma hoors from 3WA. And let me say, your drugstores are a whole other world compared to what I'm used to.

Late Friday night I got out of the cab in front of the hotel, but then decided to head out and procure me as serious a drug as I could to stem the TB-like coughing I couldn't stop by conventional means. I happened upon Tylenol Cough & Cold Severe Nighttime, from here on in referred to as Liquid Crack. It calmed my cough reflex and cleared my head enough for the weekend not to be ruined, travel and all.

That and a Venti One-Pump Soy Tazo Chai Latte allowed me to drift off and be well-rested for the social extravaganza that Saturday turned out to be. Thanks be to all the pestilent gods.

Since I've been home I've been attempting to bake up a storm for the craft show I'm taking part in over the weekend. It's not been the OvenFest I envisioned, mainly because the instant I got over the border I collapsed into this feverish, clammy, snot-infested.....okay, so you get the idea.

And now, it's back to my sick chesterfield (AKA sick bed, but with Buffy dvd availability). Send healing vibes and chicken soup.
